Overview
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Electricians for projects located in the San Clemente, CA area . This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $38-40/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial facilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and specifications
- Run and secure MC (Metal Clad) cable throughout the project
- Measure, bend, and install EMT, rigid, and other conduit systems
- Pull electrical conductors through conduit and cable tray systems
- Terminate electrical equipment, panels, transformers, disconnects, and devices
- Install and wire lighting systems, receptacles, switches, and control devices
- Perform rough-in and finish electrical work
- Install supports, anchors, and mounting hardware for electrical systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues as needed
- Maintain compliance with NEC requirements, project specifications, and safety regulations
- Keep work areas clean and organized
Responsibilities
- Must possess a valid and active Electrical Trainee Card or State Journeyman Electrician License
- Minimum of 6 years of commercial electrical experience
- Proficiency in:
- Running MC cable
- Bending and installing conduit (EMT, rigid, and IMC)
- Pulling wire and cable
- Terminating electrical equipment
- Commercial wiring methods
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
- Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Ability to work from ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds
