Role Description
The intern will assist in designing, developing, and testing printed circuit boards. Responsibilities include drafting schematics and layouts, performing electrical testing and troubleshooting, collaborating with the engineering team, and preparing documentation for PCB designs. The intern will also gain hands-on experience in advanced PCB design tools and processes.
Responsibility
- Create clean, well-structured electronic schematics for hardware modules.
- Develop PCB layouts that meet electrical, thermal, and manufacturability requirements.
- Build and document schematic/PCB test procedures and validation plans.
- Research applicable safety and compliance requirements (EMC, electrical safety, thermal, isolation, etc.) and summarise best practices.
- Work with engineers to run prototype tests, debug boards, and improve designs.
- Follow guidelines, but also demonstrate the ability to work independently without hand-holding.
