## About the Role
The Substation Project Manager will lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of substation design projects within the renewable energy and power delivery sector. This role combines technical understanding, project management, client communication, and multidisciplinary leadership to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to required quality standards.
The role supports projects involving renewable energy integration, including Solar PV and BESS, as well as power studies and substation design. The Project Manager will work closely with civil, structural, electrical, and protection & control (P&C) disciplines while serving as a key client contact throughout the project lifecycle.
## Key Responsibilities
* Develop and manage project plans, budgets, schedules, and delivery requirements.
* Ensure projects are completed on time and within defined scope.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
* Maintain timely, clear, and consistent client communication.
* Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across civil, structural, electrical, and P&C engineering.
* Maintain project alignment, coordination, and quality control across disciplines.
* Oversee quality control to ensure technical deliverables meet internal standards and client requirements.
* Support proposal development by providing accurate input on project scope, design criteria, and schedules.
* Manage project budgeting, billing, and schedule tracking.
## Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent field.
* Proven experience managing substation or related power delivery engineering projects from design through delivery.
* Strong understanding of project management practices, including budgeting, billing, and schedule tracking.
* Proficiency with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and standard project management software.
* Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
* Ability to coordinate and guide multidisciplinary engineering teams.

* $120,000–$165,000 per year
