About Us

Tinci Materials is a global leader in green chemical innovation, specializing in cutting-edge new energy lithium battery materials and high-performance daily cosmetics ingredients. As the world’s largest supplier of lithium battery electrolytes, we pride ourselves on fostering a diverse, inclusive, and forward-thinking workforce that drives our mission to redefine sustainability in the materials industry.

What Role You Will Play in Our Team

As a Civil Engineer in Tinci, you will be a key member of our North American project team, collaborating closely with the Project Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of civil engineering works for our new sustainable chemical facility. You will leverage your expertise in U.S. civil engineering standards to drive project excellence, ensuring compliance, safety, and efficiency from conceptual design through construction completion. Your work will directly contribute to the successful delivery of a state-of-the-art facility that advances Tinci’s commitment to green chemistry and clean energy.

What You Will Do

1. Lead the construction supervision, and quality control processes for the Lion Project, strictly adhering to U.S. federal, state, and local codes (including but not limited to IBC, ACI 318, ASCE standards) and environmental regulations (EPA, OSHA).

2. Oversee on-site construction activities, monitor progress against project schedules, resolve on-site technical issues, and ensure adherence to safety protocols to protect workers, the public, and the environment.

3. Develop and manage detailed project budgets aligned with U.S. construction industry standards; conduct cost analysis for materials, labor, and equipment; track project expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure financial targets are met without compromising quality or safety.

4. Review and audit construction drawings, technical specifications, material submittals, and inspection reports to ensure compliance with U.S. engineering standards and project requirements; collaborate with architects, structural engineers, MEP teams, and subcontractors to address design conflicts and optimize construction processes.

5. Coordinate with local regulatory authorities (building departments, environmental agencies, OSHA) to obtain necessary permits and approvals; maintain accurate project documentation, including construction logs, inspection records, change orders, and as-built drawings.

6. Lead regular on-site safety inspections and quality audits; implement corrective actions for non-compliance issues; foster a culture of safety and quality excellence among the construction team and subcontractors.

7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including procurement, operations, and EHS) to ensure seamless integration of civil engineering works with overall project goals; provide technical support and guidance to internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
