The Opportunity
Our client is seeking a Senior Analyst to support and enhance and build the Group’s sustainability reporting, risk management and governance processes. This position will play an integral role in compliance activities, enterprise risk reporting, and the preparation of climate-related disclosures within the annual sustainability report.
This is a high-impact role suited to a proactive professional who is passionate about sustainability and climate risk, and eager to contribute to a growing organisation committed to strong governance and responsible business practices.
The Challenge
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include:
- Support the delivery and ongoing enhancement of Climate Related Financial Disclosures
- Establish internal controls and assurance processes for emissions data and climate scenario analysis
- Oversee risk monitoring and reporting activities, including management of the Enterprise Risk Register for the Audit & Risk Committee
- Maintain and continuously improve the Group’s risk management framework
- Partner with senior leadership to review and uphold the approved risk statements
- Ensure appropriate controls and procedures are implemented and adhered to across the business
- Drive improved processes that enhance risk awareness and assurance
The Expertise
Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:
- CA/CPA qualified with a finance-related degree
- You have worked in a reputable chartered firm with experience in risk management and/or internal audit.
- Exposure to sustainability or climate-related reporting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage external stakeholders
- Sound understanding of climate change drivers, with a genuine passion for sustainability
