Role Overview
Thirteen Group is looking for a Utilities Co-ordinator to join our Environmental Sustainability team. This role plays a key part in improving operational efficiency by managing utility queries, resolving billing and metering issues, and supporting accurate energy management across the organisation. You’ll also contribute to our net-zero ambitions through effective resource optimisation and process improvement.
This is a roaming role, so you’ll work flexibly across locations to meet business needs.

You’ll also contribute to our net-zero ambitions through effective resource optimisation and process improvement.

- Act as the main point of contact between Thirteen Group and utility service providers
- Investigate and resolve complex utility, metering and billing issues raised by suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Carry out physical meter readings to ensure accurate and timely energy billing
- Coordinate and manage utility complaints through to resolution, including escalation to the Energy Ombudsman where required
- Maintain ongoing communication with suppliers, tracking progress and providing updates to stakeholders
- Produce energy and complaints reporting, identifying trends and opportunities for service and process improvements
- GCSEs in English and Maths at grade AC (or equivalent)
- City & Guilds Energy Awareness Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience
- Experience delivering excellent customer service in a front-line operational role
- Practical experience of carrying out accurate physical meter readings
- Strong understanding of metering technologies and energy data accuracy
- Knowledge of environmental impact and the wider climate change agenda
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Confident communicator, able to engage effectively with customers, suppliers and external bodies
- Comfortable escalating issues appropriately and seeing them through to resolution
