Responsibilities

  • Drive the cybersecurity program by aligning activities with the company's security and compliance posture
  • Own threat and vulnerability management, including monitoring and assessing risk across IT and operational technology environments
  • Build scalable security operations by creating frameworks to detect events and model risk
  • Lead compliance and posture management, including administering CSPM platforms and advancing certifications
  • Elevate governance and reporting by publishing executive-ready metrics and collaborating with legal and compliance teams

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience identifying vulnerabilities and delivering mitigation plans in fast-paced environments
  • Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, GIAC, or EC-Council desired
  • Hands-on expertise in at least two technical areas, including network security and vulnerability assessment
  • Experience running audits and certification programs across SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST frameworks
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in production-ready coding environments within the energy trading or financial trading sector
  • Solid understanding of national energy markets and renewable energy portfolios, including PJM, ERCOT, SPP, MISO, NYISO, ISO-NE, and CAISO
