Role Summary:
We’re looking for a Sustainability & Carbon Intern to join Think Beyond on a lead on 6month internship. You will support with carbon footprinting and net zero pathway development for two core clients, one international federation and one leading motorsport team.
You should have evidenced expertise/knowledge in carbon footprinting; as well as net zero development. You should be organised, have strong project management skills, be able to display excellent inter-personal skills and possess a healthy curiosity to continually learn and build your skillset and knowledge base. Our work is fast paced and exciting and always dedicated to positive environmental impact.
You’ll need to share our belief in positive societal change in and through sport. This doesn’t mean you need to have background experience within the sport sector, as we’re more interested in how you can use your mind and experience to deliver groundbreaking work.
Key responsibilities including:
1. Showcase outstanding carbon footprint expertise by:
• Utilising a variety of methods to gather greenhouse gas data from multiple sources whilst looking to develop and streamline data collection and quality processes.
• Calculating robust carbon footprints (scope 1, 2 and 3) for our clients – using our Think Beyond carbon footprint tool (training provided).
• Performing rigorous data quality assessments to ensure the integrity and accuracy of data.
2. Deliver strong Data Reporting by:
• Using data to set and evaluate sustainability benchmarks.
• Presenting carbon footprint data clearly and impactfully to tell compelling sustainability stories and narratives including appropriate and digestible presentation of large and complex.

• Experience or academic education in carbon footprinting and net zero planning.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• The ability to work independently, calmly and without micro-management - an expectation to work independently and problem-solve on your own is essential.
• The ability to multi-task and prioritise – you’ll be working across multiple projects at the same time.
• The right to work in the UK or Switzerland.
