Location: York, 1 St. George’s Place, York, YO24 1GN (with flexibility to be based at any of our regional offices, which are located in Doncaster, Huddersfield, Flamborough and Hull). Yorkshire Wildlife Trust supports both hybrid (a mix of office and home) and flexible working.

Yorkshire Wildlife Trust is one of the UK’s fastest growing nature conservation organisations and seeks to appoint a Membership Venues and Events Assistant.

The post holder will be responsible for identifying, sourcing and booking third-party venues across Yorkshire to support our passionate team of Wildlife Supporter Officers to undertake the face-to-face recruitment of new members for Yorkshire Wildlife Trust. This role will also include developing, facilitating, and supporting the delivery of high-quality membership acquisition events as well as provide comprehensive administrative support to a large and remote team.

The successful candidate will be driven by providing a high standard of supporter care and have some experience of working across teams and departments to build strong working relationships and achieve objectives. They must be able to process a high volume of data, prioritise tasks, work to strict deadlines and pay close attention to detail. A high level of self-motivation and the ability to work with initiative and independence are also a must.
