Yorkshire Wildlife Trust is one of the UK’s fastest growing nature conservation organisations and seeks to appoint a Living Landscape Assistant - York.

Working as part of a small team, the post holder will assist with the delivery of the land management programme on reserves in the Vale of York team area. The habitats range from SSSI lowland bogs and heathlands to internationally important floodplain meadows. The post holder will carry out site work and organise and lead task days with volunteers to carry out reserve management and delivery of our agri-environment commitments.

The nature of the post’s duties regularly require early starts (to avoid heat of day treating) or late finishes outside 9-5 and occasionally weekend work.
