This is a senior level staff position in a busy team that provides essential support to all staff, volunteers, trustees and visitors of Somerset Wildlife Trust.

With a qualification in Business Administration, you will be able to develop and use systems to ensure the smooth running of services such as health and safety inspections on buildings, insurance renewals and procurement that meets our environmental impact objectives.

You will support the rest of the team with administrative tasks such as producing reports for committees, updating policies and preparing contracts, as well as organising internal staff meetings and inductions. As the main point of contact with our IT support company you will be experienced in working with contractors.

As the day-to-day lead on Health and Safety issues you will also convene the Health and Safety Committee, taking minutes and supporting delivery of actions.

This is a full-time, permanent position. The post will be based at our Taunton Office with opportunities for home working by agreement with the line manager.
