We are currently looking for someone with great communication skills, who enjoys talking to people and is passionate about nature to help raise the vital funds needed to protect wildlife in Staffordshire.
You don’t need to know a lot about wildlife and conservation, but you do need to be passionate about it, and have the determination to make a difference. What knowledge you might lack initially will be made up for by your eagerness to learn.
Your confident and friendly personality, will enable you to engage positively with members of the public, giving you the opportunity to use your well-developed listening and oral communication skills.
You may not have worked in fundraising before, but your background might include experience in sales, customer service, campaigning, teaching, or any other role where you had to weave compelling stories and communicate confidently.
You love being outdoors in all seasons, and your resilience is evident in your positive attitude.
About the Role.
Your role will be to recruit new members at nature reserves, third party venues and events in and around the county. You’ll join our enthusiastic team making a real difference by helping Staffordshire Wildlife Trust to fund its nature conservation work to protect and enhance the wildlife and wild places of Staffordshire.

- A contract of 4 or 5 days per week to suit you
- Realistic, achievable targets
- Guaranteed minimum salary plus commission, with uncapped earning potential
- 10% employer pension contribution
- 33 days annual leave (including 8 bank holidays), pro rata
- 40p per mile travel contribution, plus parking paid for
- Comprehensive induction and full training
