Role Titles: Trustees x2 and Associate Trustee x1
Contract type: Fixed-term
Working hours: Flexible
Salary: Voluntary - out of pocket expenses paid

We have vacancies on our Board (Council) for up to 2 Trustees and 1 Associate Trustee and we are looking for professional, committed people with a broad range of strategic skills and a passion for wildlife to fill these positions.
You will join the board at an exciting time as we work to make Hampshire & Isle of Wight wilder through our Wilder 2030 Strategy. Although the roles of Trustee and Associate Trustee are voluntary, unpaid positions, we can offer you a strong sense of purpose and enormous job satisfaction. You will be in good company and working in the knowledge that you will be making a real difference to our local wildlife and helping to strengthen the Wildlife Trust’s position as one of the largest and most successful nature conservation charities in the region.
It's important that we have a diverse range of experience and styles in the Trust and we are especially keen to encourage those with experiences that are currently underrepresented to join our Board. If you are a young person, from a Black, Asian or minority ethnic background, the LGBTQ+ community, or if you have disabilities, we would be very keen to have your application.
If you would like to find out more we would be delighted to hear from you. Previous board/trustee experience is not necessary. See our Information Pack below for details on both roles and how to apply.
Closing date for applications for both roles: Monday 22 August
Interviews will be held on: Wednesday 7 September (online or face to face)
