We are looking for a passionate and driven IT & O365 Officer to provide day to day support to Trust staff and act as the conduit between staff and our Managed Service Provider, Aura
Technology. The successful candidate will sit on the Digital Transformation Working Group, along with the Facilities Manager and other key members of staff, to look at how we may be able to develop a business intelligence model for the Trust within the next two to three years to allow for streamlining current processes, better data analysis for management purposes, managing risk, and reporting to Trustees and funders.

The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust is a grassroots movement working for nature’s recovery and to bring people closer to nature.

We are seeking an IT & O365 Officer to join our cause.

This permanent role involves:
Administration, support and configuration of Office O365 for staff

Providing end-user support to staff, alongside our Managed Service Providers

IT onboarding of new staff and offboarding of leavers.

Managing and developing the current Microsoft Office 365 environment (SharePoint, Teams etc.)

Provide first point of call assistance to staff seeking help with both hardware (laptops, pcs, tablets and mobile) and software queries (predominantly Office 365).

Promoting the use of Office 365 tools

Work with the Facilities Manager to co-ordinate, review and update the design of operational processes for the running and maintenance of products or services throughout their lifecycle

Assist the Facilities Manager to produce IT policies and procedures to ensure GDPR and data security regulations are adhered to, and processes are in place and continually review and updated.

Proven work experience within an IT environment (desirable)

Experience of Microsoft Office 365 administration (desirable)

Knowledge

Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (essential)

An understanding of data protection regulations (desirable)

Skills

IT qualification (essential)

Full UK Driving licence

Personal Qualities

Able to communicate IT requirements in a way that staff of all technical abilities will understand (essential)

Supportive, team player who enjoys being part of a busy team (essential)

Interest in wildlife and conservation (desirable)
