Yorkshire Wildlife Trust are seeking to appoint a Research, Evidence and Data Manager to lead and champion the YWT Peat Programme’s research, evidence and data management activities and grow this further by developing existing and new partnerships and securing additional funding.
We are a leader in the development and use of GIS, UAV and remote sensing technologies in most aspects of our work and have developed the powerful Bogbase for the management of our spatial and non-spatial data. This work is growing rapidly and is currently carried out by a team of 3 and also overlaps with citizen science and monitoring programmes carried out by our project teams. We recently secured funding from the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation and are now looking for an experienced and well-qualified Research, Evidence & Data Manager to enable us to manage and develop this work further.
