This is an exciting opportunity for someone to take on a project, lead and recruit volunteers, develop their skills, and undertake training. We are looking for an individual with an interest in historic gardens, horticulture and wildlife, to drive the project forward. The project is based at The Cut, Shropshire Wildlife Trust visitor centre, which is a Scheduled Ancient Monument in Shrewsbury, Shropshire. The project will focus on our walled garden, the plants and planting schemes as well as the wider history of the site. You will run events and workshops, as well lead a weekly (or more) gardening club.

To apply, please answer the question below on no more than one side of A4, and email your response to Beth, at bethl@shropshirewildlifetrust.org.uk

How would you go about developing our walled garden, particularly making effort to engage volunteers from different walks of life, and how do your current skills put you in a good position to do so?
