Are you passionate about connecting people with nature to inspire action for a Wilder Nottinghamshire?

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to inspire and empower local people to take action for nature at home and in the wider community, with a focus on north Nottinghamshire.

Combining community outreach and site-based approaches, you will create links between communities and our flagship Idle Valley Nature Reserve, raising awareness of the need for action and facilitating positive change towards a Wilder Nottinghamshire.

Knowledge of, and links with, communities surrounding the Idle Valley Nature Reserve will be as important as your commitment to creating a Wilder Nottinghamshire.

As part of our People and Nature team you’ll work with volunteers and community champions to build a movement for nature across Nottinghamshire.

£24,730.37 per annum

Contract

This is a permanent full time (37.5 hours per week) contract

Location

Based at Idle Valley Rural Learning Centre (North Road, Retford, DN22 8SG) There will be also be regular travel to various locations throughout the county.
