Volunteer Manager
The Wildlife Trust for Lancashire, Manchester and North Merseyside is currently recruiting for a Volunteer Manager.
The Volunteer Manager will be responsible for the management of our volunteering service across the organisation, supporting teams to develop new volunteering opportunities and identifying ways in which we can reach new and more diverse audiences.
We are looking for someone who is highly personable, innovative, passionate and organised and who is comfortable at building relationships with volunteers, local groups and key volunteering organisations as well as engaging with local politicians. The ideal candidate will also be someone who is committed to community powered change and facilitating local people to act for nature.
The role is part time, working 21 hours per week, however the successful candidate must have the flexibility to increase hours as required.
We offer 28 days holiday (pro rata) plus bank holidays per annum, increasing with length of service.
