Community Project Officer

The Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust is looking to hire a Community Project Officer to work with Open Newtown on their Wellbeing in Greenspaces project.

The Community Project Officer will engage with the project’s lead organisations (Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust, Cultivate Cooperative and Oriel Davies Gallery) enabling them to work in partnership to deliver health and wellbeing activities. The CPO will run weekly nature activity sessions, as well as ad hoc sessions around Newtown, to engage with the local community. The project will target those communities most in need.

• Part time (21 hours a week/3 days)
• £21,000 per annum pro rata
• Contract ends – June 2023
