Location: Isle of Wight, Variety of sites across the Island.
We are looking for a motivated, skilled Wilder Communities Officer (Isle of Wight) to join our Engagement team. We need a talented community organiser to work with us on two exciting partnership projects to help wildlife flourish in urban areas across the Isle of Wight and bring people together to tackle the climate and nature emergencies, as part of Team Wilder.

We want to see the Isle of Wight wilder, greener and buzzing with life, where communities are connected with the nature on their doorstep.

We need a talented community organiser to work with us on two exciting partnership projects to help wildlife flourish in urban areas across the Isle of Wight and bring people together to tackle the climate and nature emergencies, as part of Team Wilder.

Team Wilder is part of Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust’s work to get more people on nature’s side and represents a transformational shift in approach across the Wildlife Trust movement as we evolve from a traditional engagement model to a community organising approach. Through Team Wilder we will build a network of community members who we will empower to take action to achieve common goals, develop leadership skills and form relationships with other community members.

This fixed term role involves:
Development and delivery of Wilder Wight Communities in partnership with Southern Coop (21 hours)
