In this role, you’ll manage the charity’s financial affairs ensuring effective and strategic financial management and planning.

This will involve carefully balancing the needs of a fast -growing charity, and a high – performing commercial business that delivers innovative products and services.

You’ll lead on growing our suite of charitable and commercial activities and look at the feasibility of exciting new commercial opportunities on the horizon.

To be successful you will have an innovative and creative approach to financial development with a passion for delivering dynamic growth opportunities.

You will be calm under pressure, flexible and commercially focused with the enthusiasm to drive the Trust forward to further strengthen its financial position.

About you


This role might be right for you if:

  • Have a proven history of improving or developing financial procedures and systems.

  • Are able to work both at a hands-on operational level, but also able to see the bigger picture and think strategically.

  • You have excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess strategic and organisational impact and change.

This role is part time with hours expected to be between 21 and 28 hours per week, the role will be based at our office in Middleton although a balance of home and office working will be allowed. We are a local charity so applicants should be easily able to access our office and other locations around the county.
