We are looking for an inspirational individual who can empower people to take positive action for nature

The purpose of this post is to listen to people, focussed in the Bootle, Seaforth and Waterloo areas of Merseyside, and help them to take forward their ideas and turn them into action. A key focus of our activity will be to demonstrate the power of combining art with nature. This will be in the form of listening workshops, through to how art can be incorporated into ideas that help transform greenspace and enable mass participation.

As a Community Organiser your aim will be to nurture and empower the communities through art based activities. You will enable people to help themselves through facilitated and sustainable activities leading to a ripple effect of people taking action for nature and the climate.

You are someone who is highly personable, passionate and organised. You are equally comfortable building relationships in communities as you are engaging with local politicians. You are committed to supporting community powered change and facilitating local people to empower themselves to act for nature. This role will enable you to make a real difference to nature’s recovery and to be part of our vision to protect 30% of land and sea by 3030. We are looking for someone who is willing to take responsibility and show courage and integrity. If you feel this is the role for you then we look forward to hearing from you.

This is a new and innovative post. Success will be seeing hundreds more people active within our organisation, at all levels, resulting in natures recovery across the north-west and beyond.
