This is an exciting opportunity to lead our Land Management team in the East of Gloucestershire. You will be accountable for the management and improvement of over 30 of our amazing nature reserves.
We are looking for a proactive manager, willing to both champion best practice and develop new and innovative ways of working to help the Trust deliver, bigger, better and more connected landscapes so we can achieve nature’s recovery. You will be responsible for sites covering over 650ha of SSSI and SAC habitats, including renowned and iconic sites such as Lower Woods, Crickley Hill and Daneway Banks. You will be a skilled habitat manager with experience of ancient woodland and calcareous grassland management and an excellent understanding of a variety of other habitats. Working beyond our site boundaries is key to delivering natures recovery at scale in Gloucestershire and your ability to develop relationships with other land managers, outside of our protected site network, and to develop partnership projects is crucial. We want to hear from ambitious and determined habitat managers wanting to make a significance difference to wildlife in Gloucestershire.
