Are you passionate about administration, finance and client service?

Would you like to use your administrative experience to make a difference to wildlife in Devon?

Devon Wildlife Trust is a successful and dynamic charity with a commercial arm, Devon Wildlife Consultants (DWC). DWC are looking for a Consultancy Administrator to join our friendly and close-knit commercial consultancy team. We provide a range of commercial services including wildlife surveys and assessment, developer support, training, and advice to businesses and landowners.

We are a growing business, and this role is required to oversee the smooth running of the office and deliver effective and efficient administrative processes for the team. Essentially you will free up the ecologists’ time to allow them to focus on delivering services, so it may not be the right opportunity for you if you are looking to start your career in ecological consultancy.

The ideal candidate will have excellent administrative skills, attention to detail and a real passion for client service. You will be confident speaking to clients daily and where necessary, assertive enough to deal with debt chasing. You will apply your proven organisational skills to ensuring finance tasks are completed accurately and on time, collating regular marketing updates and newsletters, and managing the team bat survey schedule. We are looking for a team player who thrives on a busy and varied workload.

This is a part-time (22.5 hours per week) permanent post based at Aldens Court. We can offer flexibility on the working pattern, but it is expected that the post holder will be primarily office based, in order to deliver tasks and maintain working relationships with all of the team.

Interviews are being held on Wednesday 16 April.

We welcome candidates of all backgrounds and abilities who meet the essential criteria for this role. To achieve our vision, we need more people, and more diverse people, on nature’s side. We are committed to developing an inclusive and diverse organisation, in which everyone feels supported, valued, and able to be their full selves.
