We are looking for a skilled administrator with excellent relationship and interpersonal skills. The post holder’s main responsibility will be to process enquiries and donations from in memory donors, members and fundraisers, providing an excellent supporter experience so the Trust continues to be their charity of choice in Essex.

Duties will include administration support to the team, regular reporting and ensuring records are up to-to-date and accurate. As the first point of contact for enquiries, excellent and engaging customer service is essential as is attention to detail. Working closely with the Legacy Officer, Philanthropy Manager and Membership Development Manager, there will be scope to be involved in all areas of the Fundraising team. Prior administrative experience within Fundraising/Giving/Legacy is desirable. If you are a self-motivated person with exceptional relationship building skills, who is passionate about protecting wildlife and comfortable talking about death, we’d love to hear from you.

This role is a fixed-term role for nine-months working 37.5 hours per week between Monday and Friday with a starting salary of £21,000 per annum (pro-rata). Further details of the hybrid-working arrangements will be shared at interview.

Essex Wildlife Trust is the county’s leading conservation charity, committed to protecting wildlife and inspiring a lifelong love of nature; and we would love you to join our committed and enthusiastic team. Our values are Inspiring, Collaborative, United and Professional.
