Can you tell stories behind a people-powered nature revolution, inspiring others to get involved? Are you able to take an agile, test and learn approach to digitally motivate people to act? Do you want to use your ‘superpowers’ to save our natural world?

We have just the role for you.

Nature is in trouble. We have reached a tipping point. Wildlife is in freefall both locally and nationally and our climate is in crisis. By 2030 we must see nature recovering, wildlife returning and ecosystems restored and we need many, many more people on nature’s side. We urgently need one in four people to take action to bring wildlife back across our region.

Cheshire Wildlife Trust are recruiting for a talented and passionate professional to join the Communications and Individual Giving team, taking a digital community organising approach to reach and inspire as many local people to take action for wildlife as possible.

The two-year Nextdoor Nature Cheshire project will see thousands of people across the region empowered to take action for wildlife where they live, work and play. With a focus area of Crewe, the project will inspire communities to reclaim and create new green spaces for everyday nature, rural and urban, on their doorstep.

We need you to lead the way.

This is a full-time contract for 24 months from start date.

Closing date for this role is midnight on Friday 20th May and we plan to hold interviews during the week commencing Monday 23rd May. We reserve the right to close this vacancy early if we receive sufficient applications for the role. Therefore, if you are interested, please submit your application as early as possible.
