Cumbria Wildlife Trust are seeking a Horticulture Apprentice to support the Horticulture Manager in the running of the Trust’s wildflower nursery and plant production. This is a full time (35 hours) fixed term position for 23.5 months

The successful candidate will start in January 2023 and be based at our Gosling Sike North (Carlisle) of Cumbria.

Training will be provided for the Horticulture Apprentice in order to fulfil the duties specified in the job description and will include a Level 2 Horticulture Operative course taught by Craven College, Skipton one day per fortnight.

Good organisation skills, attention to detail and an ability to work and communicate with people of all ages is also important.
