Job reference: Wilder Engagement Officer (Cardiff)

We are looking for someone who is highly personable, passionate and organised. You are equally comfortable building relationships in communities as you are engaging with local politicians. You are committed to supporting community powered change and facilitating young people to empower themselves to act for nature.

You will work as part of a team across the Welsh Wildlife Trust movement to enable young people to create and campaign for new green spaces for nature in both rural and urban areas. This role will enable you to make a real difference to nature's recovery and to be part of our vision to protect 30% of land and sea by 2030.

In the job description we have listed essential and desirable experience and skills, but we can help fill in gaps with appropriate training and you will be supported by the wider WTSWW Conservation Team, which includes Reserve, Engagement and Communication Officers.

We are committed to putting equality, diversity and inclusion at the heart of The Wildlife Trusts, to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to experience the joy of wildlife in their daily lives.
