An Assistant Centre Manager is needed at our nature discovery park in Thorndon, near Brentwood.

Our small, friendly, and passionate team at Thorndon play an important role in providing fantastic customer service to our visitors to the Trust. As the Assistant Centre Manager, the post holder will work closely with the Site Manager to deliver an excellent hospitality service, retail outlet and the planning and delivery of site events throughout the year.

It is essential that the post holder is a self-motivated, able to delegate and work with others effectively, has a ‘can-do’ attitude and proactive approach together with willingness to support team members both front and back of house during busy periods.

In this role, we are looking for someone who thrives on providing a welcoming visitor experience in a customer-facing environment, has strong people skills and experience of working in a busy environment.

This role is a permanent position working 30 hours between Monday and Sunday on a rota basis. For further information about our Thorndon site, please visit
