We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Assistant Project Officer to help deliver a wide range of peatland restoration and paludiculture work across Lancashire, Greater Manchester and North Merseyside

Lancashire Wildlife Trust is a leader in lowland raised peatland restoration and alternative land management work and the Assistant Project Officer will gain the opportunity to work alongside experienced team members to support the overall project delivery.

This is an exciting opportunity for anyone looking to develop a career in peatland restoration and management and will develop habitat restoration skills, project design experience, survey work and provide the opportunities to work with partners, external landowners and volunteers.

This role will require someone who can embrace the challenges the role will bring, has excelled interpersonal and communication skills, and enjoys working with project partners.

In return we offer 28 days holiday (pro rata) plus bank holidays per annum, increasing with length of service.
