Lancashire Wildlife Trust has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Project Officer to join the Peatland Programme and deliver our exciting and ambitions wetter farming projects across Greater Manchester, Lancashire and North Merseyside

Lancashire Wildlife Trust is leading the way with our innovative alternative land management trials on lowland agricultural peat and the Assistant Project Officer will work alongside experienced team members to support the overall delivery of several projects.

This is an exciting opportunity for anyone looking to kick-start a career in peatland restoration and they will develop knowledge and skills in delivering a wide range of monitoring work that is essential to the overall success of our wetter farming work.

This role will require someone with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enjoys teamwork and working with a range of landowners and project partners.

In return we offer 28 days holiday (pro rata) plus bank holidays per annum, increasing with length of service.
