We're looking for a Nature Recovery Manager to provide expert leadership to a team of delivery staff, while devising and developing opportunities to increase our delivery of nature recovery and nature-based solutions projects across Birmingham and the Black Country.

This is an exciting time to be join the Wildlife Trust and help deliver our vision of a Wilder Birmingham and Black Country. The Nature Recovery Manager is a pivotal role, providing expert leadership to a team of delivery staff, while devising and developing opportunities with the Head of Conservation, colleagues, and external partners to increase our delivery of nature recovery and nature-based solutions projects across Birmingham and the Black Country.

We’re looking for someone with experience of managing people and projects, and who is enthusiastic and knowledgeable about ecological restoration and habitat creation. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate excellent technical and inter-personal skills. You will be well-organised and have the confidence to work independently and on your own initiative.

Applicants must be able to evidence relevant experience demonstrating technical and practical competencies. You will be able to demonstrate a positive attitude to partnership working, and in working effectively to deadlines. It is essential that you have a degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant environmental science, or demonstrable relevant experience in the sector.
