We're looking for a Governance and Administration Officer to provide comprehensive administrative support across the Trust and support to Trust Council in relation to Governance processes and related charity law.

This is an exciting time to be join the Wildlife Trust and help deliver our vision of a Wilder Birmingham and Black Country. The Governance and Administration Officer is an important role providing support to wider teams across the Trust. The role will provide comprehensive administrative support and support to Trust Council in relation to Governance processes and related charity law.

We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic and knowledgeable about governance and HR processes, preferably in the charity sector. The successful candidate will be experienced in supporting boards and committees, as well as delivering wider administrative or office support. Ideally, we are looking for someone who also has experience of contract monitoring. You will be well-organised, with excellent written communication skills, and have the confidence to work independently and on your own initiative to strict deadlines.

Interview date: Week beginning 27th March

Anticipated start date: April 2023

Location: Birmingham head office and home working, with some travel throughout the Birmingham and Black Country area
