Learning Manager (West) Maternity Cover

The role will lead the Community Learning Team in the West of our region, including the overall responsibility of the Sutton Courtenay Environmental Education Centre, Oxon and the education provision at The Nature Discovery Centre in Thatcham, Berks. The aim of the Community Learning Team is to promote connection to nature to broad audiences through a varied, hands-on and income generating Learning Programme.

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and motivating manager who will lead the team to deliver our inspiring programmes for schools, families, young people and adults. The ideal candidate will have a minimum three years’ experience developing and delivering learning opportunities to broad audiences including young people under 18 years of age and be a skilled communicator, experienced in leading teams of staff and volunteers.

Salary: £32,500 – £34,500 per annum

Contract: Fixed term - 13 months, September 2022 – October 2023

Hours: Full time (35 hours per week)

Based: Sutton Courtenay Education Centre & home working
