Mergers and Acquisitions Associate
M&A/Finance Associate - Clean Energy & Power Platform - High Growth, High Visibility Seat
Join a fast scaling energy platform sitting right at the center of where power generation is heading, from renewables and storage to the thermal generation now underpinning hyperscale data centre demand.
This is a business with a genuinely diverse asset portfolio and a development pipeline built for the next phase of the energy transition, and they're hiring the next Finance Associate to help drive that growth.
This isn't a back office modeling seat. You'll sit at the intersection of Finance, M&A, Development and Strategy, building the models and materials that inform real investment decisions, structure real financings, and shape how the company grows across a genuinely varied generation mix.
What you'll actually do:
- Build and own project and corporate level financial models powering M&A, financing, and strategic decisions across a diverse portfolio, renewables, storage, and thermal
- Help structure and execute project level debt and tax equity financings
- Shape investment and marketing materials for live transactions
- Lead due diligence coordination across internal and external stakeholders
- Screen and evaluate acquisition targets, including opportunities tied to the surging demand for reliable power from hyperscale data centres
- Get in front of senior leadership, presenting market intelligence that shapes strategy
What you bring:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering or similar
- 3+ years in Finance or M&A, ideally in energy or power
- Sharp modeling instincts (tax equity experience a strong plus, not a must)
- The communication chops to hold your own with senior stakeholders
Why this role:
Power demand is being rewritten by AI and hyperscale data centres, and this platform sits right in the middle of that shift, with a portfolio spanning renewables, storage and thermal generation rather than a single technology bet. You'll get transaction exposure most Associate seats can't offer, direct access to leadership, and a genuine hand in decisions shaping where power generation goes next.
Comprehensive benefits, strong 401(k) match, and a culture that backs ownership and accountability.
