Solar O&M / Business Development Manager (NC)

• Focus: Expand commercial solar operations.
• Details: We’re seeking a proven leader who understands the solar industry end-to-end — someone capable of driving new business, managing GCs and projects, and developing a commercial solar team quickly. This is a growth-focused role with significant opportunity for advancement. Based in Gastonia, NC, with travel as needed.
• Business Growth: Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and market penetration for solar energy projects.
• Sales & Client Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, including corporations, government agencies, and real estate developers.
• Opportunity Identification: Identify new business opportunities and secure funding, permits, and partnerships for solar projects.
• Proposal Development: Collaborate with engineering and finance teams to design, price, and present customized solar solutions, financial summaries, and proposals to clients.
• Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
• Negotiation: Negotiate contracts with property owners and other counterparts, working with internal legal teams to execute agreements.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with sales, marketing, engineering, finance, and operations teams to ensure project success from initial contact through to project completion.
