Commissioning Engineer required for a National MEP Company.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver commissioning projects from initiation through close-out.
  • Conduct condition assessments and energy audits for existing facilities.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative energy solutions for both new and existing buildings.
  • Manage and coordinate small to mid-sized projects, ensuring technical excellence, budget adherence, and on-time delivery.
  • Maintain strong communication with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Prepare and present clear summary reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
  • Support business development by attending industry events, building and maintaining client relationships, and assisting with proposal preparation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering, with 3–8 years of relevant experience.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license strongly preferred.
  • 3–8 years of energy-related or commissioning experience; professional certifications such as CEM, CCP, CPMP, or BEAP are highly valued.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and controls is required.
  • Commitment to continuing education and professional development.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
