Commissioning Engineer
Commissioning Engineer required for a National MEP Company.
Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver commissioning projects from initiation through close-out.
- Conduct condition assessments and energy audits for existing facilities.
- Contribute to the development of innovative energy solutions for both new and existing buildings.
- Manage and coordinate small to mid-sized projects, ensuring technical excellence, budget adherence, and on-time delivery.
- Maintain strong communication with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Prepare and present clear summary reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
- Support business development by attending industry events, building and maintaining client relationships, and assisting with proposal preparation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering, with 3–8 years of relevant experience.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license strongly preferred.
- 3–8 years of energy-related or commissioning experience; professional certifications such as CEM, CCP, CPMP, or BEAP are highly valued.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and controls is required.
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
