About The Órb

The Órb is a youth-led movement working at the intersection of climate action, sustainability, and social justice. We partner with NGOs, universities, experts, media, and young creators to amplify voices and drive systemic change.

Partnerships power everything we do. As Community & Partnerships, you’ll shape the relationships, collaborations, and community strategies that expand The Órb’s impact across India.

If you want to build real partnership, outreach, and ecosystem-building experience in the sustainability space—this role gives you a leadership seat at the table.

What You’ll DoPartnerships & Outreach

  • Identify and build strategic partnerships with NGOs, foundations, universities, and corporates
  • Create proposals, negotiate collaboration terms, and manage 20–30 partner relationships
  • Build 3–5 formal partnerships per quarter

Media & Press Relations

  • Build relationships with journalists and climate/sustainability media
  • Pitch stories and secure 2–3 media mentions monthly
  • Coordinate expert access and track earned media coverage

Expert Network & Contributors

  • Recruit and manage a network of 50+ sustainability experts, researchers, and practitioners
  • Facilitate interviews, guest articles, and knowledge-sharing opportunities

Community & Events

  • Plan quarterly community strategy
  • Execute 1–2 events per month (webinars, workshops, meetups)
  • Build peer-to-peer engagement within The Órb’s community

Creator & Influencer Collaborations

  • Identify aligned micro-influencers (10K–100K)
  • Pitch collaborations, negotiate, brief creators, and track campaign results

Team Leadership

  • Recruit and manage coordinators, community managers, and interns
  • Lead weekly meetings and set KPIs
  • Build mentorship plans and guide team performance

Who We’re Looking ForEssential Experience

  • Partnership development / relationship management (professional or project-based)
  • Strong networking, communication, and stakeholder management
  • Understanding of the sustainability/NGO landscape (India preferred)
  • Media relations, PR, or business development experience (preferred)
  • Leadership experience (formal or informal)

  • Experience in India’s NGO/impact sector
