In this newly created role, the Global Teams Recruiting Lead will execute the strategy and recruitment processes for our general recruiting efforts within the Global Teams which consist of our Chief Conservation Office, Global Science, Protect Oceans Land and Waters, Provide Food & Water Sustainability, Tackle Climate Change, Global Oceans, as well as Impact Finance and Markets They will lead a small group of recruiters, as well as consistently manage their own set of mid-level recruitments. They will develop a pipeline of potential talent, network and collaboratively engage recruiting partners globally to ensure best and emerging practices to create a unified approach to talent acquisition at The Nature Conservancy. This role will be a member of the Talent Acquisition team and an integral part of the Global Team as they work to provide subject matter expertise to meet our hiring goals and create a positive experience for candidates. This role will manage large projects and play a significant role in stabilizing and optimizing our newly implemented Applicant Tracking System and Candidate Relationship Management system.

This is a Remote Role that will require flexibility in schedule to reach across global time zones.

Travel outside of the US is also needed; as well as for potentially extended stay (2-3 weeks) in particular locations.

An analytical thinker who leverages technology and stays on top of market trends to deliver world class experience to our candidates and hiring managers. We are looking for you to bring innovative ideas to build and implement effective, proactive, and efficient recruitment strategies and processes to address the talent for all non-term-limited mid-level positions while ensuring best practices are being followed.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree and 6 years HR related experience in HR/Talent Acquisition or equivalent combination.
  • Experience as a manager of a recruiting function or team; managing remotely a plus.
  • Leadership experience in building a program area, motivating, developing, and engaging team members toward a shared vision and goals
  • Experience working with senior leaders to develop and implement Talent Acquisition strategies and initiatives
  • Experience communicating and developing relationships with a broad range of audiences including experience working with or recruiting for global teams.
  • As this is a global role; multi-lingual skills and multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience appreciated.
  • Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System producing reports, data manipulation, analysis, and recommending process flow efficiencies and enhancements.
  • Experience leading recruiters while actively managing and closing your own searches.
  • Experience leading projects and coordinating the work of others
  • Experience with prioritizing and organizing work while attending to details.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong client service orientation and client centric mindset
  • Experience using MS Office software
  • Must be willing and able to travel outside of the US.
