The Executive Recruiter is a resourceful and compassionate partner who can attract the best talent to our organization. The Executive Recruiter develops strategic partnerships with The Nature Conservancy hiring managers at the global, regional, functional, departmental, and/or operation unit levels. This person ensures effective recruitment of senior staff with a focus on increasing the diversity of the Conservancy’s workforce. The Executive Recruiter leads internal “kick-off” calls with hiring managers and manages sourcing of passive talents, screening, evaluating selected applicants, and maintaining a pipeline of qualified, diverse candidates. They leverage experience in building talent pools, identifying potential candidates, and using cost-effective sourcing techniques to attract qualified applicants.

The Executive Recruiter acts as an internal search consultant who manages full-cycle recruitments for senior level roles within the organization. Essential functions include delivering relevant counsel to senior-level recruitments, innovative sourcing techniques, overseeing job advertising, conducting phone interviews, reference checks, and coaching managers on compensation and offers. This position partners with senior HR leaders and will assist the Director of TA with other staffing strategies as assigned.

The ideal candidate should have exceptional communication and collaboration skills and experience influencing and coaching senior level hiring managers. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the ongoing mission of conservation by directing and shaping the talent at The Nature Conservancy.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree and 6 years full-cycle recruiting & selection experience or equivalent combination.
  • Solid understanding of U.S. employment laws governing recruiting, interviewing, and hiring.
  • Strong client service orientation and ability to produce results in a high performing environment.
  • Experience in relationship building/influencing skills that enable buy in at all levels including the ability to sell the organization to candidates, as well as initiate innovative solutions and strategies.
  • Organizational experience with prioritizing and maintaining flexibility while multi-tasking.
  • Experience working with senior managers to develop and implement recruitment strategies and initiatives.
  • Experience using MS Office software with experience in constructing and producing reports, data manipulation, and analysis.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems.
