WHAT WE CAN ACHIEVE TOGETHER


The Division Finance Director (DFD) position oversees the strategy, analysis, and management of financial activities at the division level. They act as a thought partner to the Division Director, and Business Unit (BU) Finance staff in decision-making and implementation. Responding to increasing demands across the North America Region, we are hiring a DFD for each of the following divisions: Northeast, Southern, Great Plains, Midwest/Pacific, Western US & Canada. Flexibility to work within the time zone of the region is preferred.

The DFD provides broad oversight of Division-wide finances including planning, reporting, and analysis of current division finance and operations activities. They identify gaps in alignment and efficiencies and ensure financial management standards and compliance requirements are met. The DFD represents the division in regional and organizational-wide initiatives and tailor implementation for their division. This includes addressing challenging situations effectively that would impact the financial or operational situation long-term.

The DFD will also be responsible for synthesizing financial information for senior leaders and developing creative financial strategies to drive resources towards critical work. They provide subject matter expertise and serve as a resource to their BUs and direct alignment across their division. This position does not supervise staff and reports to the North America Region Finance Director with a dotted line to the Division Director.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field and 7 years related work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and directing multiple complex projects.
  • Experience with accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Although this position does not manage staff, experience developing, mentoring, and coaching staff is appreciated.
  • Project management experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a strong executive presence.
  • Experience with complex financial analysis, including analyzing provided data and sharing to stakeholders.
  • An innovative mindset to develop and implement organizational improvements.

SALARY INFORMATION


The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of $112,000 – 176,000 for annual base salary. This range only applies to candidates whose country of employment is the USA. Where a successful candidate’s actual pay will fall within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including, for example, the candidate's location, qualifications, specific skills, and experience. Please note countries outside the USA would have a different pay range in the local currency based on the local labor market, and not tied to USA pay or ranges. Your geographic location will be confirmed during the recruitment.
