WHAT WE CAN ACHIEVE TOGETHER


The Concur Support Specialist provides specialized finance and administrative services to the Concur Support team and the Finance Resource Center (FRC) at The Nature Conservancy, working closely with and reporting to the Concur Manager.

The Finance Resource Center (FRC) is a dedicated team providing communications, support and training to TNC staff globally in topics related to finance at The Nature Conservancy. The Concur Support team are members of the FRC who focus on business expenses and payments. The Concur Support Specialist (this position) works closely with the Concur Manager to assist users in successfully navigating TNC financial systems to report their business expenses and request vendor invoice payments.
The Concur Support Specialist assists the Concur Manager with supporting staff in expense reporting and vendor invoice payment. Concur Support manages the Concur system at TNC, providing specialized services in customer support, employee account maintenance, financial reporting, user documentation, online and virtual training, and the Concur Support intranet site. They may also collaborate with FRC colleagues to support larger FRC team goals. Some business travel may be required.
The position administers and maintains expense reporting and payment activities in accordance with TNC policies and procedures and best practices in financial management. They are an expert in their area of specialization.

The Concur Support Specialist provides user support through the TNC Concur Support help desk, including (but not limited to) assisting users navigate the system, answering questions related to Finance policies and procedures, performing user account updates, and providing requested reports. They perform scheduled Concur user account monitoring and account profile maintenance, making updates when necessary. They assist the Concur Manager and Finance Resource Center with other projects and duties as needed, ensure TNC policies and procedures, financial standards and legal requirements are met, and reinforces consistency in the organization's policies and procedures and provides support related to relevant field.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field, 3 years' related experience, or an equivalent combination.
  • Experience with organizational and time management skills, accuracy and attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
  • Experience or training in professional business writing and communication.
  • Experience with manipulating, analyzing, and interpreting data.


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365, particularly MS Word and MS Excel. Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel is ideal.
  • Experience with accounting and financial systems, particularly expense reporting and accounts payable systems, is a plus.
  • Experience with SAP Concur and Insight (Unit4 Business World) is welcome; MS SharePoint online and/or TNC Connect a plus.
  • Multilingual skills and/or multi-cultural experience are appreciated.
