The Paralegal, under management of a Senior Attorney or Senior Paralegal, assists with providing legal services for assigned programs and ensuring that transactions and activities are legally sound and consistent with TNC’s mission, authority, policies, and procedures. Key tasks include contract reviews, contracts and project tracking, legal research, drafting routine legal documents, client training and corresponding with client groups. They will effectively articulate basic legal concepts and internal policies and procedures to others.


We are a global conservation organization looking for a team player to support our work with vendors, partners, and others, and advance our mission-related work through contracts management. You’ll have exceptional communication, organizational, and customer service skills. You’ll be self-motivated and detail oriented. You’ll need to track, prioritize, and complete many items simultaneously. Experience in project management, note taking and preparing meeting minutes is a plus!


  • Associate’s degree OR equivalent qualifications acquired through coursework and/or relevant work experience.
  • Experience conducting research on the Internet and in other legal resources.
  • Experience with MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Experience working across cultures.


  • Multi-lingual skills and multi-cultural experience appreciated.
  • Relevant legal experience, including contract review and administration, regulatory compliance including regulatory filings, client communications.
  • Comfortable learning new technology and software (e.g., Zoom, SharePoint, Box).
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Willingness to assist with variety of needed tasks.
  • Strong communication skills, including timely and thoughtful responsiveness.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills, including experience with editing and drafting of documents.
  • Experience with project and process management to ensure efficient work-flow.
