Job Title: Home Energy Inspector – Energy Efficiency Programs
Location: (Candidates must be residents of New Jersey; travel up to 100% required)

About the Role:
We are seeking an Inspector. The role involves verifying energy-efficient equipment installations at customer sites, ensuring compliance with program rules, and documenting findings. This is a remote role with extensive travel across New Jersey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site and remote inspections of energy-efficient equipment.
• Verify project documentation accurately reflects completed work.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and upload results to internal systems.
• Assist with other tasks as requested by program management.

Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with lighting, HVAC, commercial kitchen equipment, and other energy-efficient systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams.
• 2+ years of experience in energy efficiency or related field preferred.
• Must be a resident of New Jersey with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Positive, collaborative, and team-oriented attitude.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, climb, kneel, and perform other physical activities for extended periods.
• Ability to wear PPE for extended periods.
• Lift and carry appliances weighing up to 50 lbs occasionally.
