Position Overview:
The Residential QA/QC Specialist serves as a field representative for residential energy efficiency programs. This role involves performing quality assurance inspections, verifying installations, and ensuring program compliance. You’ll work closely with contractors, clients, and internal teams to maintain high standards and deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct residential field inspections and energy audits to verify program compliance.
- Perform quality assurance reviews of technical data and installation documentation.
- Provide feedback, training, and guidance to contractors on energy efficiency standards.
- Document findings and report on project quality, safety, and performance.
- Coordinate with program staff to troubleshoot issues and ensure successful project completion.
Qualifications:
- 4–8+ years of experience in residential QA/QC, energy auditing, or weatherization.
- BPI Building Analyst certification required.
- Strong knowledge of building science, HVAC, insulation, and ventilation standards.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites.
