The ICCT is looking for a summer Fuels Intern based in our San Francisco office. This internship provides an exciting opportunity to contribute your research and analytical skills to work that drives real-world impact and advances ICCT's goals. You will report to a Senior Researcher on the Fuels team.

You Will

  • Conduct scientific literature reviews.
  • Conduct quantitative or qualitative analyses to support ongoing research- topics may include hydrogen and sustainable aviation fuel
  • Write internal memos on specific policy or technical topics.
  • Author or co-author ICCT publications, such as working papers.
  • Present your work to internal audiences.

You Have

  • Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing a Master’s or PhD degree in engineering, environmental science, environmental policy, energy and resources, or other relevant subject
  • Strong research, analysis, and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Proficiency in or R (preferred) or Python for data analysis
  • Demonstrated interest or experience in energy, transportation, climate change or related topics
  • Excellent interpersonal and English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and engage effectively with team members.

Our Benefits: This is a full-time (40 hours per week) internship opportunity that will be based in San Francisco office for 12 weeks and have an hourly rate starting at $24.00. Interns are eligible for a limited benefits package, which includes paid time off, internet subsidy, and other benefits. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
