ESG Officer (Infrastructure Financing and Securitisation)
HKMC commenced its business in the area of Infrastructure Financing and Securitisation (IFS) since 2019. To support the growing business, we are now inviting high-calibre individuals to consider the following opening in our IFS Division.
Job Descriptions
- Support in maintaining the financed emissions inventory;
- Assist in evaluating and quantifying climate risks (physical and transition);
- Consolidate data and information for ESG disclosure purposes;
- Carry out technical, environmental and social due diligence on underlying projects from loan origination through portfolio management phases;
- Undertake occasional overseas travel for site visits to review technical, environmental and social aspects of projects as necessary; and
- Perform other ad hoc assignments related to sustainable finance, as well as technical and ESG matters as required.
Requirements
- Degree holder preferably in Environmental Science, Engineering, or Finance, with a demonstrated interest in ESG;
- Approximate 10 years or more of relevant experience in renowned financial institutions or advisory firms, with involvement in infrastructure engineering, project finance, ESG or sustainable finance; and
- Strong analytical skills, and excellent communication and presentation capabilities.
