This role sits within the Hardware Product Management organization and plays a pivotal part in shaping nextgeneration battery storage products used across largescale industrial and grid applications.

Youll work across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, sales, finance, and field teams to define product strategy, launch new offerings, and guide technical content that supports both internal alignment and customer success. This is a highvisibility position requiring strong engineering fluency, commercial acumen, and the ability to operate in a fastpaced, highly collaborative environment.

The team is also anticipating additional openings (including a role focused on cell introduction and collaboration with cell engineering), so strong candidates with cell, PCS, inverter, or utilityscale hardware experience are encouraged to engage early.

What Youll Do

  • Define product vision and roadmap based on market research, competitive insights, customer feedback and crossfunctional input
  • Translate strategy into clear market & product requirements and business cases
  • Shape offerings into standardized, commercially ready products for utilityscale deployments
  • Partner closely with engineering teams (electrical, mechanical, systems) to support product development, improvements, and new feature releases
  • Develop and maintain technical content including documentation, collateral, and technical reference materials
  • Support internal and external education of critical product features for customers, AHJs, utilities, and crossfunctional stakeholders
  • Conduct technoeconomic assessments to optimize project margins and product capabilities
  • Identify opportunities for process, product, and customerexperience improvements

What Youll Bring

  • Engineering degree (or equivalent technical experience)
  • 5+ years in hardware product management OR the energy industry (energy storage highly preferred)
  • Ability to bridge engineering + commercial decisionmaking
  • Strong analytical capabilities and datadriven thinking
  • Excellent communication, influencing and crossfunctional collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in parallel and pivot quickly
  • Passion for accelerating the energy transition and gridscale innovation

Strong exposure to at least one of the following:

  • Utilityscale battery storage systems
  • Battery cell technologies (ideal for upcoming cellfocused PM role)
