Our client, a renewable IPP, operating on a stand-alone basis, is one of the largest, most technologically advanced utility-scale solar and energy storage project development companies in the United States. With a growing portfolio of more than 40 GW, our client's diverse team provides comprehensive services at each phase of renewable energy project development, from conception through construction. We are seeking an energetic and highly motivated individual to fill the position of Director of Transactions. As Director of Transactions, this individual will lead the origination, execution and management of sell-side transactions. There will be a variety of transactions including equity joint ventures, develop to flip, development asset sales, tax equity, tax transfers and debt financing. As leader of deal teams the Director will negotiate the financing, manage and support the internal deal team, and drive to financial close. Sell-side deal lead – focus is on leading our client's sale of projects at NTP (or earlier) or COD, to financial investors, strategics, or utilities. ~Fluent in discussing and interpreting financial models. Bachelor’s degree in related field. equity, tax equity, tax transfers or project finance debt experience required. ~ Lead capital formation for specific financings, negotiating deal terms, and managing associated work streams including modeling and due diligence. ~ Collaborate closely with functional teams across the company, including transactions, finance, project development, engineering, procurement, grid integration, construction, operations, and legal. ~ Demonstrated leadership abilities in managing teams. Extensive experience in leading due diligence for complex asset portfolios.
