Electrical Foreman – Commercial & Industrial Solar

A leading renewable energy EPC contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead field crews on Commercial & Industrial (C&I) solar projects across the Mid-Atlantic region.

Their team includes NABCEP-certified installers, engineers, and licensed electricians who are passionate about building the clean energy economy and delivering exceptional projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise electricians and installation crews on active solar construction sites.
  • Coordinate daily work activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to specification.
  • Install and oversee the installation of PV modules, racking systems, inverters, switchgear, and other balance-of-system equipment.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, and construction documents.
  • Ensure all work complies with NEC requirements, project specifications, and quality standards.
  • Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce OSHA and company safety protocols.
  • Track materials, tools, and manpower requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with Superintendents, Project Managers, and subcontractors.
  • Support system testing, commissioning, and final punch list completion.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in electrical construction, with supervisory or lead experience.
  • Previous experience as an Electrical Foreman or Lead Electrician.
  • Solar construction experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • NABCEP certification is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites.
